Well, I gave this song a try, but it's quite difficult to find a way for it to sound somehow "not to bad" in English, so I made a very literal translation. But I'd problems with this too. The idea is for English to be able speakers to hear and sing the song knowing what it means, nothing more. But if your translation seems to artficial as in this case...

The followings are just some points I want to remark, but this time I don't have specific questions, just what you want to quote is ok. At the end you can hear the song, sang by Gardel. Hope you enjoy it.

I have some doubts with, for example, this words:
- farra (I use "party" to translate it, but it seems inacurrate. Maybe "binge" is ok?)

-aquella (the only way to translate this is saying "that woman" or "that"?)

-mejor dicho (literally it's "better said", I wrote "or rather". I'm not sure wich sounds better)

-Well, there are more things, as for example "Brindemos" or this part of the song, that I can't make to say exactly the same in English(and let's not talk about making it sound well):
"yo me emborracho por ella
y ella quién sabe qué hará."
I wrote:
"I get drunk for her
and who knows what she is doing [now]."
But I think I should use "while" or something like that...

-Another thing will be this phrase:
"I loved her, boys, and I love her" / and I still do
I think the literal one sounds very artificial, but I'm not sure.

Yes, Angelica is right, Gardel died before singing that song, so there is no recorded version.
But there are a lot of people that think that Gardel sang it.
