tacos al pastor = shepherd-style tacos

And, since this is a Mexican dish, I added Mexican to the translation to make it more accurate. So, tacos al pastor is Mexican shepherd-style tacos.

hint = pista, indirecta
to hint = dar a entender, insinuar, lanzar indirectas

Creo que platillos de comida no se deben traducir especialmente si son platillos tradicionales de una región. Por ejemplo, mole poblano, tacos, enchiladas, chiles rellenos, etc.

No hay palabra en inglés para las palabras que escribí arriba. Es como tratar de traducir Pot Roast y esperar que la gente sepa de lo que estoy hablando. Para chiles rellenos no dirías "stuffed peppers" porque estas hablando de 2 platillos diferentes.

Asi que por esa razón yo diría Tacos al Pastor y no "shepherd style tacos" no importa donde o con quien estaría hablando.

Para mi........queso fundido con chorizo y rajas de chile.....mmmmmmm

No se si lo sabeis, pero Corea y Mejico son los dos paises del mundo con la comida mas picante y con menos incidencia de cancer de estomago...

If we're talking Spanish food, I recently tried chicha morada (a Peruvian soft drink) for the first time and fell in love with it. I'm sure it has enough sugar in it to supply my caloric intake for several weeks. But it is SO yummy!!!!!!

El cebiche peruano tambien es sabroso, y no parece nada el cebiche mexicana. El cebiche llena y no engorda. Le da espacio para un vaso de chicha morada. Cuídate, la palabra chicha tiene otro significado en las Antillas. Otra bebida peruana es la popular Inca Cola. Lo encuentro desagradablamente dulce. El pisco sour es un trago tomado en Peru y Chile hecho de pisco, limon, claro de huevo batido y azucar. La cocina peruana es verdaderamente buena. Es una fusión de comida indígena, china, y andaluz. En New Jersey hay una población grande peruana (hay gente que le da a la ciudad de Paterson tiene el apodo little Lima). Alli existen restaurantes chifas que son restaurantes chinos/peruanos.

El kimchi coreano es un encurtido de repollo o nabo o rábano que no falta sabor pero tiene un olor desagradable.
