También un hombre astuto es un zorro (una mujer astuta, no). El español es un lenguaje machista.

Es que le da otra connotación...

Creo que todo lenguaje es machista. Aquí en USA se ha tratado de escribir y hablar de una manera en que no tenga género, por algún tiempo ya.

Creo que es tiempo que se invente un lenguaje universal, que no sea machista pero que se refiera apropiadamente al género.

En inglés, la mayoría de las palabras son neutras, por lo que creo que no existe tanto problema como con el español

A mí siempre me ha parecido lo de menos si el lenguage tiene connotaciones sexistas, pero uno no llamaría nunca "fox" a un hombre en inglés.
