Depende de lo que quieras decir, y en qué región.

fallo = verdict, decision, ruling; mistake, error, oversight
falla = fault, defect, flaw, failure; fault (geological); mistake, error (AmL)

Fallo ...

En Puerto Rico solía oir "!que fallo" para decir jolin!, o caramba!

Pero no me acuerdo si era "que fallo", o "que falla".

I did a bit of searching for that phrase (both versions of it) as a Puerto Rican interjection and came up empty handed.

Well, it must be slang usage. I know a couple of Caribeños, I'll have to look them up and see. Then I'll get back to you all.

It might be something Andalusian, too.
