Noche de perro / de tiburones

 

An idiom is an expression whose meaning is not readily apparent based on the individual words in the expression. This forum is dedicated to discussing idioms and other sayings.

I've heard "tener/pasar una noche de perros", which means to have a bad night.

"Noche de tiburones" is not an idiom. I can only think about observing sharks and their behaviour at night.

Try providing context for all the expressions you're asking about and we might find the right answer for you.
