Well i'm going to go now and take a look on you tube, at your favourite song, l'll tell you what l think later.

Nice to have met you María.

I'm going to Bedfordshire...And about time too.

Smile Bedfordshire

Hi María,

It was nice to hear from you again. I just wanted to say that l couldn't help but smile when you used the expression "to go to bedfordshire" (as in to go to bed), l've heard it used before. But the reason l smiled was because Bedfordshire just so happens to be where l am from in England.

(l'm sure you already know, but its a county north of London).

Anyway, thankyou for that little reminder of home.

Ayudate
Saludos

Debbie

That's quite a coincidence. In fact, I was quoting Bridget Jones...but I'm glad I made you smile.

Yes, it's a quite coincidence.

I feel that something is strange in the forums, there are Chivos espiatorios, jajaj.

Scapegoats? But that means something different...At least on this side of the world.

It means the same on this side of the world as it does on your side, I would suppose. A scapegoat (un chivo expiatorio) is a person who takes the blame for something that someone else did. As a verb, we say 'to take the rap for, or the blame for something (uno que paga el pato por algo)'.
