No, it wouldn't be "no suma" unless you're talking about ading up numbers.
I'd say "no tiene sentido". It's the best translation that I can think of.

No cuadra? no cuaja? no coagula?
Somehow it think that like English there is a mathematical term. Hay algo aquí que no cuajacuadra
