This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for June 4, 2008
meta -feminine noun (la), goal, mark, finish line. Look up meta in the dictionary Es bueno ponerte metas a corto y largo plazo para que logres algo. It's good to have short and long-term goals so you achieve something.

Meta- is also a prefix (from Greek) that means "besides".As in the word metástasis.
