Yes, I agree with it, but I don't find sense in the word, perhaps if the words is other word then it'll turn sound better.

Bob, tendrías que cambiar el título del hilo. Vosotros no distinguís entre "chistes" y "bromas", todo es "joke".

Un chiste es como un cuento pequeñito que hace gracia.

Una broma es como una burla o un acto divertido (a veces). Por ejemplo, un amigo te deja un cubo de agua encima de la puerta entreabierta para que te caiga encima cuando empujes la puerta para entrar. Eso es una broma (a veces son de mal gusto...)
