Manzana
This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for June 15, 2008
manzana -feminine noun (la), apple. Look up manzana in the dictionary La manzana es una de las frutas de árbol más cultivada en todo el mundo. Apples are one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits in the world.

And a sentence I don't understand: Los experimentos se realizaron en manzana. Can anybody explain?

Could be the a block, it call a apple, or perhaps a candy apple. |

There's also the Adam's apple, which I believe in Spanish is the nuez/bocado/manzana de Adán.

In Spanish, for Adam's apple the most common is nuez.
Also, bocado de Adán.
