Why Does It Say Ruby?
Why does it say Ruby under my name at the top left of my posts? I've been searching through profiles and everywhere else and can't find it. I know it's there somewhere. Thanks, Bob Ritter

It's to do with the number of posts you have made. If you keep posting, you might be promoted to something more valuable. I think it is the quantity of posts that matters, irrespective of quality.

OK! So maybe 4000 posts gets me to Diamond. I didn't make the connection at all. Thanks.

There's a 'Search' pull-down menu located on the 'utilities' ribbon. You can use this feature to search for thread titles or thread content to check to see if your question has already been asked before. I found this post (and there's an older one) by searching on 'ruby opal diamond' (3 of the gems we use). Once you hit the 'diamond' level, and you've earned at least 20 reputation points, you're allowed to customize your title. |
