Lovely Britain
I love England. It really feels like home even though I only go there in the summer. That's why I'm using a picture of the river Windrush as my avatar. It's a small but incredibly beautiful waterway that crosses "my village", Bourton-on-the-Water.Worth a visit if you happen to be in the Cotswolds.

It looks like a beautiful place, but the picture is too small to do it justice.

I agree Britain is really quite nice. FYI: British English and American English
differs as much as Spanish Castillian and Mexican Castillian. For example: We are much less likely to use the word lovely, brilliant, and quite nice. Nevertheless spending a lovely holiday(in the U.S. we use vacation instead of holiday. Holidays are reserved to Christmas,New Years, etc ) in Britain seems brilliant (in the U.S.some of us overuse the word awesome much the way some British people overuse brilliant). Poli |
