Gracias.

= someone's told
= someone's squealed
= someone's leaked it out
= someone's let it out
= someone's ratted
= someone's reported it
= someone's sold us out
= someone's ratted us out

Quote:
RAE: chivar.(De gibar).
1. tr. Can. y Am. Fastidiar, molestar, engañar. U. t. c. prnl.
2. tr. Arg. transpirar (‖ exudar el cuerpo). U. t. c. intr.
3. tr. Cuba. perjudicar.
4. tr. Cuba. estropear (‖ maltratar, deteriorar).
5. prnl. delatar.
6. prnl. vulg.

7. prnl. Arg., Guat., Hond. y Ven. Enojarse, irritarse.
Dichos son "tirar de la manta" or "soltarlo todo" or "me lo dijo un pajarito", but no "se ha chivado"

Saludos

Jorge, maybe what you meant was tell-tale
Scapegoat= chivo expiatorio (as Super-Rusty said)
Tell-tale= chivato.
You say tattle tale over there, don't you?
