La Gran Barrera de Coral. (NE Australia)

Also,

En toda versión escrita que yo recuerde es La Gran Barrera de Arrecifes. Pero siempre que aparece en televisión es La Gran Barrera de Coral, creo que porque muchos caribeños dicen "los arrecifes blancos de Dover" que no son ni muy arrecifes -para los demás, la gran mayoría- ni muy coralinos que digamos.

Gracias Alec, veo que el uso no esta "super-establecido". Supongo que dejando claro en el contexto que me estoy refiriendo al NE de Australia, no hay mayor problema.
