Yo conozco el durazno como una variedad de melocotón, un poco más pequeño. Pero creo que en México lo llamáis durazno. Supongo que son variedades que se cultivan aquí y allí, el clima es diferente

Parecido a durazno/melocotón
Los albaricoques son chabacanos en Mexico.
Las fresas son frutillas en Ecuador, Peru y Argentina
Los aguacates son paltos en Ecuador, Peru y Argentina
En Puerto Rico las naranjas son chinas
En Cuba la papaya (cuando se refiere a la fruta) es fruta bomba.
En Colombia sandia es patilla.
En las americas cacahuate es maní
En Santo Domingo la candia es es quinbombó
En Colombia las bananas son guineos

En otros paises se usa durazno tambien. Casi la palabra melocotón no se
encuentra in las americas.
