To Proofread

I found proofread in the dictionary, but I don't know if I like that translation (correjir pruebas).

Does anyone have any other ideas? I was thinking maybe revisar?

Give me a sentence, I give you an answer
We use "corrector de pruebas" as "proofreader", but usually is only "corregir" ó "revisar"
Usually "corregir" is when you think there are mistakes, and the other person can check them and correct.
"¿Me puedes corregir este texto?"
Usually "revisar" is more to look for other opinion, style, to change a sentence for other that sounds better or so, etc.
"¿Me puedes revisar este texto?"

But usually you can use both in both situations.

Hope it helps
