Captain Jack Sparrow, the scruffy-looking pirate, says this to the elegantly high-class Elizabeth at the end of the movie just before leaving her. He said it so seriously that it came out sounding humorous, since there was no possibility that two such different people would get together.

Entre nos, de todos modos no lo habría [¿hubiera?] resultado bien

Or better ideas?

habría or hubiera can be used, although there is a little nuance that's not noticeable to mere SPanish mortals and then again might be also a regional thing, and that "lo" is not needed.

"Entre nos", is used for telling someone a secret. Any other relationship between people should be "entre nosotros".

"Hubiera/habría" can be both used in daily speech.

"Lo", the way you're using it, similarly to a pronoun, has no place in your sentece, because you'd need to state previously the thing it's referring to.

My proposal is something like "lo nuestro no habría/hubiera funcionado/resultado de cualquier manera / de todos modos".

"Lo nuestro" is commonly used to talk about a couple relationship.
