Espabilar
Encontré la traducción más abajo en una página web, pero al buscar la palabra "espabilar" en el diccionario, parece que tiene significado distino.(to wake up en vez de blink).
Adémas, obviamente no diríamos "...the eyes.." sino "...his eyes..." ¿Puedo confiar en este sitio web? http://www.practicingspanish.com/5alejandro.html ¿Qué piensan ustedes? Por favor corrijan mis errores. "Se está quejando de tener algo en los ojos, y hasta le molesta cuando espabila." "Espabilar" may be many things, including to squint (when you wake up). But the usage in that sentence doesn't look familiar to me.
