Connect mobile to net
Are my sentences correct English?:
-My mobile phone is very old now. If I connect my mobile with/to the net without the charger on, it would snap off suddenly. (=screen light goes out; shut down; powered off) |

'Connect to' is better than 'connect with'.
'Snap off' doesn't mean 'shut down' in American English. Universally understood would be 'turn off' or 'shut down'. By the way, when you ask a question, it ends in '?', not '?:'. If you want to direct the reader's attention to the correct set of sentences, if there are others and there might be some confusion, you may add 'below' or 'following' to your question. |
