Se lo encanta leer. The "lo" is the direct object pronoun for "el libro" and the indirect "le" becomes "se". In Spanish you can't say "le lo encanta leer", the indirect "le" becomes "se".

Sorry about that. Of course Malila is correct. In your sentence "book" is the subject and "le" is the indirect object. I was thinking of a sentence like "I gave the book to Anna" which translated to "I gave it to her" would be "Se lo di a Anna".
I hope I got this one right:>))

Muchas gracias

La construcción estándar para "gustar", es "gustarle algo a alguien", but "algo" cannot be replaced by any form of "se" or "le" or "lo", but by "eso", "esto"... In this case, I'd suggest that you think about "(Something) pleases me/you/him, etc.", instead of "I like (something)". (A mí) me gusta leer. --> (Eso) me gusta. I like reading. (A él) no le gusta ir a la escuela. --> (Eso) no le gusta. He doesn't like going to school. (A nosotros) nos gusta el agua. --> (Eso) nos gusta. We like water. (A ellos/a ustedes) les gusta cantar. --> (Eso) les gusta. They/you like to sing. In this case, I'd suggest you think about "(someone) gives me/you/her, etc. something". (Yo) le di el libro (a él). --> Se lo di. I gave him the book. We gave you/them bread. (Ellos) nos dan paz (a nosotros). --> Nos la dan. They give us peace. (Ustedes) me han dado (a mí) muchos regalos. --> Me los han dado. You have given me many presents. ![]()

Thank you very much
I am still a little confused. Thank you |
