Indirect object
Is the indirect object needed here?
Grammar book didn't include it in following sentence. Lori hace una visita a su amiga. |

I think technically it would be correct with or without the indirect object. To me, it sounds much more natural with the indirect object:
Lori le hace una visita a su amiga. Now that I think about it, it may be incorrect without the IO. "a su amiga" is added to disambiguate.
