Decir cosas gordas

I take it as to mean to say "succulent/important/shocking" things. They could be good or bad.

Its use will depend of each country, I guess.

Cosas importantes o cosas fuertes. Cosas que no son intrascendentes o que no van a ser pasadas por alto u olvidadas fácilmente.

Decir cosas fuertes , como serias acusaciones de una persona ( to say heavy stuff ), o también discutir con insultos ( strong words )

In Mexico sometimes people say "esta re-gordo" as in "that's not nice".
