Poner "re" antes de una palabra

Im confused as to when you should use that re infront of a word
por ejemplo

El pelo del se pone reseco

What is this?

What is this?
It might be......
El pelo de él se pone reseco. His hair gets real dry. (seco = dry.... reseco = real dry)

re in front of a word is to say it is really........ unless the word begins with re.

Less confusing.......

reloj - watch/clock
real - real
relato - story/tale

-----------------------------
bonito = pretty
rebonito = real pretty

feo = ugly
refeo = real ugly

loco = crazy
reloco = real crazy

Right I know about regular words beginning with re but just wasnt sure about the other. Cool , thanks that makes sense.
