Your Base Language

what to use as base language when learning a new language?

I use English as my base language because it is the language I use most in day to day life (I'm from holland)

However, i've been considering now that I want to learn other languages, to use Spanish as my base language so that I can also refresh my Spanish. Do you think this is a good idea? or should you stick with 1 base to effectively learn a new language?

I'm not sure what you mean by base language, but English is surprisingly related to Spanish. If you don't already know this, if you have a good English vocabulary you will find that there are many cognates in Spanish. You may need to keep just one base.

Podrías declarar de ser un 'native lenguage' holandés, segunda lengua...y elencas las que sabes.
Aprovecho para invitar a todos los foreros de poner su propia lengua natal y en seguida otras que domina con fluidez.
Gracias.
