Indignarse de viva voz

Amigo-as ,cuando alguien se indigna de (no con ) viva voz , significa que lo haga gritando ?

a viva voz = voz alta/gritar

I thought de viva voz meant personally, in person, but that makes little sense in context.

"De viva voz" significa que lo manifiesta con palabras (o, en algunos casos, como dice Chileno, a gritos).

De [o a] viva voz. Hablando, por contraposición a escribiendo. De palabra. *Oyendo, en vez de leyendo: ‘Lo aprenden todo de viva voz’.

Para mí, de viva voz = hablado y a viva voz = gritado.
