Like teaching a grandmother to suck eggs

Esta frase hecha no está en el diccionario de tomisimo.org y no veo cómo añadirla, así que: ¿hay alguna frase hecha en castellano que lleva la misma idea? El concepto es de enseñar algo a alguien que conoce mejor que tú el tema. Cuando se popularizó la frase era normal que una abuela no conservara sus dientes, así que chupar huevos era una manera de alimentarse que sí podía.
