I mostly pronounce all four words separately. But then, I´ve heard the two slyllables pronounciation all my life and I guess I sometimes do the same.

Right on the money. Actually I say hav'yueat'n yet, but we've already established that I'm unusual in that I use compound tenses a lot, part of my snobby upbringing. But I abbreviate the hell outuv'em.

Thank you for the phonology lesson, too, David. I'm slowly picking up terms as I make my way through various languages. I'd written Iris that it was Djeet yet, but I see that that wasn't the half of it. We--meaning those of us who speak at nine million miles an hour and use the canon of abbreviations including gonna, woulda, mide'a, giv'um, etc.--really don't pronounce the t at all.
