I'm going to the doctor to see when I can get an appointment.
I'm going to the doctor to see when he is seeing patients.
I'm going to the doctor to see when he can hold surgery.
etc.

I'm going to the doctor. I wonder how much time I'll have to spend sitting in the waiting room. He's always late.

In Mexico "por qué hora" sounds strange. We'd say "a ver a/hasta qué hora me recibe"

"Let's see at what time he will finally see me (if ever)"
