Medida
I’m looking for a different way to express the sentence below. It has been taken from the paragraph underneath. My attempt is below in bold italics. Is it grammatically correct? Any other suggestions would be very helpful.
… propone nuevas medidas … Sugiere pasos modernos / Recomienda ideas actuales / Plantea mejores soluciones Del mismo modo, reconoce que los avances conseguidos con la ley antitabaco “aún no son suficientes” y propone nuevas medidas para seguir combatiendo su consumo. |

In that paragraph nuevas doesn't imply "new" but "further".
