1. I suspect the desired answer is Switzerland, but there are many correct answers. The Roman Empire, for example.
2. 1/6. 3. Probably a remote Amazonian tribe, but for the sake of having a chance of agreeing with the mark scheme I'll guess Denmark. 4. No idea. Picking something up doesn't transfer ownership, so it could be as few as 0, but you might have three orchards full of them. The "correct" answer is probably either 2 or 6, and 2 is more easily defended. 5. 6. Mandarin, English, Spanish. 7. e 8. 1972? 9. Its summit is 6 miles above sea level to 1 significant figure. 10. 1957. |
