Stand up straight

"At first I walked with my back bent a bit because I felt that if I stood up straight I was pulling everything inside but that sensation quickly passes and you'll find you can stand up a bit straighter everyday."

I think the safest way is poner la espalda recta.
There's other ways, but I would wait for native speakers for those.

You can use "ponerse derecho(a)" or "enderezarse".

And remember that imperfect must be used instead of preterite for setting frames of action, describing surrounding circumstances, repeated actions...

¿puedes corregirlo?

Gracias

Very good, now you only need to watch the gender agreement. "Derecho" is a masculine form.
