Pájaro que no sabe volar...
People have tried to explain Pájaro que no sabe volar, agarra ventaja (or should it be ventana?) to me but I still don't understand what it means. What does the bird that doesn't know how to fly grab onto?

Según lo que leo el dicho es: el pájaro que no sabe volar no agarre ventaja.
The bird that doesn't know how to fly is at a disadvantage. I assume this means that if you're inept, you lose out.

Do you have the context for this?
Searching in Google I find only "Pájaro que no sabe volar, agarra ventaja"... and I tend to think it is something on the order of "the second mouse is the one who eats the cheese"?

I found "pájaro que no sabe volar, que agarre ventaja", which makes more sense to me, and which would mean that if you are at disadvantage, make your own opportunities; make the most of what you can actually do.
