Question English grammar: prepositional verbs

Hi all

I have studied English all my life and I'm proud and happy to say that I speak the language quite fluently now (about time!).

In my experience, one of the most difficult things of the English language is the "prepositional verbs". They don't seem to make any sense, there's no other way to use them properly but memorize them. And they are a lot! I still work hard on that..

My question refers to the difference between "prepositional verbs" and "phrasal verbs".

Can any one explain to me what the difference is? I have never figured that out.

Thanks a lot!!!

Luna Azul

I can't really improve on the wiki article, which gives a link to a list. Yes, there are a lot of them.
