This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for October 2, 2009
fijar (verb) — to secure, fasten, fix, affix. Look up fijar in the dictionary Hay que fijar bien el cuadro para que no se caiga de la pared. You need to fasten the picture well so it doesn't fall from the wall.
