Fijar

This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for October 2, 2009

fijar (verb) — to secure, fasten, fix, affix. Look up fijar in the dictionary

You need to fasten the picture well so it doesn't fall from the wall.

@Hernán: voto por "en".

My eyes hurt when I fix them on something for a long time.

Uno consejo, pienso que "for a long time" suena mejor y es más común

I can use this word in the following sentence.

I need serious commentaries of my practice.

I need to fasten the opinion of the annotators.

Please if you so lovable, I require you that you give a little check to my sentence, because I'd like to know if it's right and it's not wrong.

I appreciate your support.
