¿Qué te hace pensar eso?

Children watch football matches in class, so they they don't "miss" school!

Thanks poli, lol I used "it" for a person, well, Maradona...

Yes, football here is important for most people, sometimes even in a violent way. But as I don't like football, I don't know much about that enviroment.

It would not be strange if next president is a football manager.

Well, there's no way I'd endanger my life by wearing a US team jersey in Argentina during the World Cup!! So I got an Argentine jersey so that I can fit in.

I don't know if I'll have the time to see a game in person while I'm in Argentina, but will definitely watch the games on TV!!

It's not like I'll get my choice of where I want to go. This is a college group, and although I'm twice the age of anyone else in the group (including the professor), I will still be required to do whatever the group does.

Besides, I am sure that one visit to the Cafe Tortoni will be more than enough for me because I'm not a big fan of doing lots of "touristy" things. I want to do what real bonaerenses do!

I think that I've read that they finished the repairs. I would LOVE to go to el teatro Colón! I've been reading all about it. It is supposed to be one of the world's top opera houses. I just don't know if I will be allowed to venture out on my own....

Just sneak into the subway (subte) y vete o toma un taxi. I won't tell. I promise.
