¿Qué verbos utilizan más?
I'm making flashcards in an effort to help me increase my vocab. Right now, I'm concentrating on verbs. I've written as many verbs as I could think of that I use the most in English (although that's a lot harder than it would appear since the usage is so second nature!). I will translate them into Spanish and conjugate them in the indicative as I go.
Can I pick your brains? What verbs do you find you get the most use out of in your everyday experiences? ETA: Nevermind, fixed the title of the thread, I think . ETA again lol : I just realized my above ETA is probably confusing . I had originally asked if utiliza should be utilizan (for 'you all use') then I remembered that indeed that would be the proper usage. Sorry about that!

Yo creo que los verbos más utilizados son ser, estar y haber. Quizá puedes añadir tener, pensar, decir. Los más utilizados son, por lo general, los irregulares, porque son los más usados y los que más variaciones han tenido. En cualquier gramática encontrarás verbos irregulares que ponen como ejemplo, suelen ser verbos muy utilizados. Los verbos más usados también dependerán del contexto: un cocinero dirá mucho freír, asar, cocinar, etc.. No sé, depende un poco del mundo en que te muevas.

Not sure why I put 'la' in front of 'mas' though . Can't remember my reasoning, if indeed there was a reason .

ETA: So, would '¿Qué verbos tú utilizas/usted utiliza/ustedes utilizan más? be a more appropriate way of asking what verbs do you as an individual use since subject pronouns are mostly used for emphasis? Hope this makes sense as I'm about to head out the door and I've got a ton of stuff to do today so my brain's all .

I would like to add some that are not on David's list that I find indispensible: Quedar and Quedarse and Alcanzar.
