Question Debiendo - Use in a sentence?

Hi all!

I understand "should". Can someone explain how debiendo would translate to English and give me a sample sentence?

Thanks!

Cool por ejemplo

estoy debiendole a joanne al menos tres dolares

'I am owing to joanne at least $3'

pues, esto es la manera en que yo uso esta palabra, sin dudas, otras personas en este forum la usara en otras maneras!

soy extranero

saludos,
craig.

(yo espero que esto es un poco correcto)

Deber also means 'to owe' so one good translation is 'owing', but in the sense of 'should', it might be translated like this:

This is kind of a contrived example, but it works.

Debiendo correr 20 km, siguió hasta deshidratarse.
Since he was supposed to run 20 km, he kept on until he was dehydrated.
