En chile (y en Argentina creo) es "pasar(las) como el forro" = pasarlo mal.

En España pasar por el forro significa que lo que te suceda, o pase, te da igual, te lo pasas por el forro, no te interesa. Recalco en España.

Nosotros decimos que nos fue como el forro. Por lo menos en chile, no estoy tan seguro si en argentina es igual.
