By the way, I started the paragraph without identifying who "los dos" are because this paragraph is part of a larger essay. This paragraph is just a continuation of more writing coming before it. "Los dos" have already been identified before.

Thank you in advance for your help.

"Al" is mostly used when you're talking about the continuation of activities from a previous day) día siguiente, ellos fueron de compras en (wrong preposition) la Calle Florida. Raquel compró una bolsa de cuero en una tienda de la calle (If you're emphasizing the fact that they were in that street, "la" is too general, so you need a demostrative article; otherwise, repetition of "calle, calle, calle, feels clumsy) . "Malabarista de frutas" is a construction for a well-identified subject, but this sounds too strange for the kind of occupation and the object with which is practiced. Mateo is a proper name, what do you mean?) y en bote. (Do you mean she played with vegetables and she made portraits of them both with them??)

Thank you both!!

I corrected my errors. I did not find the correct answer to one error though: what is the right preposition to replace "en" in "...ellos fueron de compras en (wrong preposition) la Calle Florida"?

Rusty has a spectacular aura aboutRusty has a spectacular aura about
'Ir' is often followed by 'a'. It's no different for 'ir de compras'.
