Ganas de

As I understand it "ganas de" + infinitive translates to desire to do something, correct?

[it seems to me that you have a lot of desire to travel]

sus ganas de vivir son muy fuertes
[her/his desire to live is very strong]

he perdido mis ganas de comer
[I have lost my desire to eat]

Muchas gracias Rusty. Puedo decir "Hay que tener las ganas de tener éxito" (one must have the desire to succeed)
