Based on the definition above, I believe the following is a good translation: He aced the test. = Él bordó el exámen. = Él clavó el exámen. (¿Será igual?) Bordar el papel = to portray the role very well (I kind of sense this might also mean 'to take the leading/main role (el papel principal)', as well) Ana Belén portrayed the role/part very well in ....
