Laepelba, una de las cosas que más me gusta de mi trabajo es el conocer personas de todos los niveles sociales. Me gusta conversar con estas personas porque aprendo lo bueno, lo malo, lo correcto y lo incorrecto. Por eso soy muy preguntona aquí en los foros.

El aprender y absorber de esta información me permite ser un interprete/traductor más relajado y más (knowledgeable). Aunque como vez todavia tengo problemas con ciertas palabras.

Laepelba, ¡qué bien dominas ya el diccionario de la RAE y comprendes las definiciones! pronto tendremos otra Elaina II

En España se usa chocar "contra" o "con" algo:

He chocado contra/con la mesa.

Para coger número en un supermercado, tienda, etc. nosotros no usamos "ficha", sino "número".

Coge número en la carnicería mientras yo hago cola en la pescadería.

¿Puedo preguntarte qué software utilizas?

¿Conoces este 'reader' también? Lo utilizo a veces (por ejemplo leyendo noticias etc) porque se puede cargar urls también, creo es bastante útil.

Utilizo "Google Translator" (http://translate.google.com). Si David/Rusty no quieren la liga, lo suprimirán. No es perfecto. Pero ayuda a tener una idea general. También, Tomísimo tiene la software de traducción. Creo que se basa en el software de Google ...
