"Cómo se dice...?"
"I thought I was going to be able to buy a top that went with both skirts but I don't think I can because one needs a white top and the other an off white/cream top." "Pensé que iba a poder comprar una camiseta que pega bien con las dos faldas pero no pienso que puedo porque una necesita una camiseta blanca y la otra una "off white"?? o crema." |

I think that I I'm going to be able to buy a top that goes with both skirts.
Pienso que voy a poder comprar una camiseta que pegue bien con las dos faldas. Present tense sentence about an unrealized event in the present on an indefinite object. First verb is present indicative, second verb present subjunctive. Pensé que iba a poder comprar una camiseta que pegara/pegase bien con las dos faldas... Past tense sentence about an unrealized event in the past on an indefinite object. First verb is past (preterite) indicative, second verb is past subjunctive. |
