Play peek a boo

Hola,

Cómo se dice eso en español? También me tocó interpretar--

to crawl--gatear

to creep--arrastrarse

to scoot--??

Gracias a todos. Cuento con ustedes!

Marsopa

I couldn't find a translation for to scoot. Your other translations are correct.

Depending on the context, scoot could be arrimarse, moverse, hacerse a un lado etc.

Careful with hacerse a un lado; it can also be used figuratively.

Some more options for peek-a-boo:
Jugar a aparecer y desaparecer
Jugar a taparse la cara
You might even be able to use:
Jugar a escondidas con un bebé
Even though escondidas is really hide-and-seek.

thanks

Well, I think I said "jugar a escondidas" but maybe next time I will say "dónde está el bebé?"

As far as "scoot" goes, maybe I will just stil with moverse (sentado).

thanks,

Cúcú...
Tras, tras...
Cúcú...
tras, tras...

This is what they always say to me. When saying cúcú, they show their faces. When saying tras, tras, they hide them. Can anybody explain it to me?
