sencillo (adjective) — simple. Look up sencillo in the dictionary

Mi decoraciones de navideña fueron muy sencillos este año. No tenía tiempo ni dinero para más.

Simple also.

En Chile también significa "change" = "dinero suelto", "monedas chicas", "suelto" etc.

Can you give some examples in sentences of those Chilean usages? Thanks!

Está "sencilla" un sinónimo de "fácil"?

Yes. I forgot to mention that one. Just as easy = simple in English.

¿Traes sencillo para comprar el diario?

Tengo un billete de cien, ¿me lo cambias por algunos de a veinte y sencillo?

In the last phrase, sencillo can be singles and some coins.

@Hernán: No conocía ese uso de "sencillo". Es bonito.

En México también se usa para alimentos que pueden llevar uno o más componentes iguales:

Helado sencillo = helado de una bola (one ice-cream scoop)
Helado doble = helado de dos bolas (two ice-cream scoops)

Hamburguesa sencilla (one beef patty hamburger)
Hamburguesa doble (two beef patty hamburger)
