@Irma: Cierto, pobre uno.
Aquí se usa mucho desde que existen los teléfonos de botones, pero es español coloquial.

Claro, como el caso de doblar esquinas...

Es el mismo idioma usado de diferente manera. Eso es todo.

"Apretar el botón" es una frase muy utilizada, sólo dije que para el contexto, era preferible algo más formal.
