'scope

In Spanish, scope is usually prefixed. Por ejemplo: endoscopio, arthroscopio, etc.
The verb to scope might not translate as well. I use explorar.

Gracias a los dos.........pero.....

En términos médicos...... translate the following please....

4 small incisions are made in your abdomen. A scope is inserted to view the gallbladder and ducts and to remove stones.

Sosia....a sonda would be more like a catheter, wouldn't it?

No tengo muy claro qué es un scope en inglés (en cuanto a la terminología de la medicina) Así que no voy a ser de mucha ayuda.

The proper work is laparoscope. In Spanish the word would be laparoscopio

I agree with Poli
Se realizan 4 pequeñas incisiones en el (tu) abdomen. Se inserta un laparoscopio para visualizar la vesícula bilial, los conductos (uréter?) y para remover las piedras.

But the laparoscope it's only the "viewer" and you need only one incision.
For removing stones you need another instrumental.
So:
Se realizan 4 pequeñas incisiones en el (tu) abdomen. Se inserta (por una incision) un laparoscopio para visualizar la vesícula bilial, los conductos (uréter?) y las piedras. Por las otras incisiones el isntrumental quirúrgico necesario.
saludos
