Need a little help with translating two sentences
Hi everybody, before I begin, I must say that my first language is Dutch, so it's possible that there will be potential grammatical mistakes.
I need a bit of help with the translation of two sentences. I already have gotten a translation of Google Translation, but I wanted to have certainty and I couldn't think of a better place to ask it than here. I used to be in touch with someone from Mexico, but unfortunately, a lot of life happened and a couple of years passed. Now, I think I've found her Facebook profile. There are no actual "real-life" photo's, and the only two images I can find on her page is her avatar and her banner. The avatar has the following text on it: "Yo... Allá arriba entre las estrellas... Tengo a alguien que nunca olvidaré..." The banner has the following text on it: "Comparte si tienes una hija súper hermosa que quieres con todo tu corazón." I don't know why, but the rough translation from Google struck me as very odd to say the least. Can you guys help clarify this for me? Thanks in advance. |

That person has a daughter, probably her only kid, and a departed loved one in heaven. That's what it says, in a very internet way.

Exactly, that's why it strikes me as odd. And it's exactly a very internet way of doing things. I do wonder if perhaps she has passed away, because of the text on the images, but it's no real evidence if the person in heaven refers to her specifically.

I guess that's all we can dig out of these two bits of text and I have a feeling aleCcowaN may have a good point in the way it's written. Thank you for your input! |
