Spanish without proper punctuation and some bad word choices is difficult to understand, but we can get a proper translation out of it.

Here it is:
I'm 17. I don't have children, nor am I married. I'm Cuban, but I live in Pembroke Pines (Florida). Why do you think that living in Cuba I can get connected (to the internet)? That's unheard of in Cuba! Yeah, there are computers, but emails are only sent at work. I don't know why you're saying that my Spanish is a little hard (for you to understand). That's the way it is (in Cuba). You were born in New York (so you wouldn't know).

i guess TAMPOCO and NI are pure negation words. i guess if you put them in front of a positive sentence, they will negate the sentence. i think this is what she did and that is how Rusty got the translation. because @ 1st i could not see where she said she doesn't have kids and i couldn't see where she said she wasn't married. but now i do. they appear to function like the word NO in spanish.

Right, tampoco means neither (not ... either) and ni means nor. The lady who wrote the narrative used these as if she just heard someone say they didn't have children and weren't married. Otherwise, she just should have written No tengo hijos y no estoy casada.

No quiero ir al cine. --Yo tampoco.
I don't want to go to the movies. --Me neither. (Nor do I / I don't want to go either.)

¿Quieres comer o beber algo? --No quiero comer ni beber nada.
Do you want to eat or drink something? --I don't want to eat nor drink anything.

I'll convert the original narration (on the left) to proper sentences (on the right), and then, below that, I'll show you where your translation (on the left) could be improved (on the right). OK?

Besides, you were born in New York.

The translation is good. The punctuation and some word placement in the original source are a little messy. Good work Rusty
Saludos
