Merging back to back posts

Hi!
This is a question for the moderators.
I've noticed a lot of "merging of back to back posts". From what I can see, (I haven't read the rules) you're not allowed to write a post about smth and then write another post immediately after, even if they're addressing different issues. I just wondered why.

If it is a different issue, wouldn't that be enough reason to post a new thread?

There are rules in the forums, what you should to follow in the post made for you.

Now I don't know exactly that you need or what rule you need to know.

some posts aren't, like some in Want to learn Chinese...you put tons of info in one post, and you can't fit any more in that post, you make a post after that

Everyone is encouraged to read the Forums Terms of Service.

Tomisimo asks posters to avoid posting several messages in a row, to avoid confusion for other users. That is the reason why there are tools like Multi-Quote, which allows to reply to multiple posts (click the "multi-quote" button on each message and then "quote" button at the last one) and Edit (in case you have forgotten to add something or want to correct your last post, click the "edit" button and change your previous message).

The objective of keeping these easy-to-follow rules is to make this place useful and enjoyable for everyone.

If you have any questions on how to use the forum tools, you can ask moderators or check the help page.

I mean different, but related to the thread, like in one I'm answering a question and in the other I'm asking a question about the same thread. I find the multi quote more confusing than back to back posting personally, but if there's a Rule about it, I suppose we have to follow the Rule...

It's much worse when you try to avoid it. Yesterday somebody answered a question while I was writing something. I wanted to answer that question and "quoted" it and "edited" my last post, but I was not successful and another post appeared. I couldn't do anything else.

Ah, yes. Well, it is a matter of getting accustomed.

Si creas dos hilos consecutivos , es fácil para arreglarlos.

Ve a editarlo y haz clic "eliminar", luego puedes copiar la información de uno del otro
